ZWO Lamka District Office was inaugurated on 29 November, 2006 at College Road, Vengnuam, Newlamka under the initiative of Project Co-ordinator M.Gouzamang Guite. This function was led by Pastor PH Routhuam, Local Pastor,EBCC Vengnuam, New Lamka. It was attended by ZWO Observer K.Thangchinlal, Tuithapi council members, advisers, workers of ZWO and many other well wishers. Mang took charge of the office on the same day.
